I love teaching! And I am happy to visit schools or libraries and deliver workshops or presentations centered on creative writing, art, illustration, or creative play. A favorite presentation/workshop I do is one on writing funny books—I love when kids can laugh while learning about writing! My experience: I designed lessons for and taught art to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders at a local Montessori school for 8 years. It was a huge joy! I have experience teaching both in-person and via zoom and enjoy both!

Please note that I also do a limited amount of 15-minute free author visits for schools during WORLD READ-ALOUD day, which usually takes place the first Wednesday in February. I especially appreciate doing these visits for schools who have purchased my book THE ELEPHANTS’ GUIDE TO HIDE-AND-SEEK. I will post a link here for my sign-up when it’s available.*
